Philosophy of Yoga

Yoga in ancient times was often expressed in terms of a tree with roots, trunk, branches, flowers and fruits. Each branch of yoga has unique characteristics and represents a special approach to life. Six branches of yoga:
  1. Hatha Yoga - the physical and mental branch - includes the practice of asana and pranayama - the preparation of the body and mind.
  2. Raja Yoga - meditation and strict observance of the "eight steps of yoga."
  3. Karma Yoga is the way of serving the conscious creation of the future, free from negativity and selfishness, caused by our actions.
  4. Bhatka Yoga - the path of devotion - is a positive way to direct your emotions and develop acceptance and tolerance.
  5. Jnana Yoga - wisdom, the path of knowledge and intelligence through research.Tantra yoga is
  6.  the path of ritual, ceremonial relationships.
